What is Poddle Pants Preloved?
Welcome to Poddle Pants Preloved, where little wardrobes get big love! π¦ We're all about giving quality secondhand children's clothing, accessories, toys, and books a fabulous second life. Think sustainable fashion that's easy on your wallet and kind to the planet.
Why sell with us?
Consigning with Poddle Pants Preloved means you earn more while we do all the work! We handle the photography, listing, marketing, and selling, so you can sit back and relax. You'll earn a percentage of the sale price (typically 50%) when your items sell, and there's no upfront cost to you. Plus, your preloved treasures find new homes with families who will love them just as much as you did.
Are all items second-hand?
Yes, all our items are preloved and gently used. Each piece is carefully inspected to ensure it meets our quality standards before being listed in our store.
How do you ensure quality?
As a mom myself, I only accept items I'd be happy to dress my own little ones in! Every piece is thoroughly inspected to ensure it's clean, gently used, and in good condition. Items with significant wear, stains, or damage don't make the cut. Your family deserves the same quality I'd want for mine.

Can I sell my items with you?
Yes! We are always looking for more quality preloved children's clothing, accessories, toys, and books. Contact us to get started.
How does the consignment process work?
- Submit your items, we pay for collection or shipping. - Contact us with details about what you'd like to sell. Please note: we require a minimum of 20 items per consignment submission.
- We review - Our team checks each piece to ensure it meets our quality standards.
- We photograph & list - Approved items are professionally photographed and added to our store.
- We handle the sales - From pricing to customer service to shipping, we've got it covered.
- You get paid - When your item sells, you choose between either a store voucher, which is a store credit to be spent on future purchases, or an EFT payout. Kindly note that EFT payments happen once a month and are generally based on 50% of the selling price.
- Unsold items - Within 6 months, you can reclaim items at your own shipping cost, or we'll donate them to local charities

What are your consignment rates?
When your item sells, you receive 50% of the selling price. You can choose to receive your earnings as a store voucher (store credit for future purchases) or as an EFT payment. EFT payments are processed once a month. It's a fair split that rewards you while covering our photography, listing, marketing, and customer service.
What happens to unsold items?
Items remain listed in our store for 6 months. During this time, you can reclaim any unsold items at your own shipping cost. After 6 months, unclaimed items are donated to local charities where they can help families in need. We'll send you a reminder before the 6-month mark so you have time to decide.

Shipping & Delivery
How long does delivery take?
Orders are processed within 2-3 business days. Delivery times vary by location: 2-4 days for major cities, 4-7 days for regional areas, and 7-10 days for remote areas.
What are the shipping costs?
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and order size. We strive to keep shipping affordable for all our customers.
Which courier do you use?
Our preferred courier is The Courier Guy and Pudo Lockers (Locker-to- Locker and Locker-to-Door options).
Do you ship nationwide?
Yes, we ship to all areas in South Africa.
Refunds & Returns
What is your return policy?
You have 7 days from delivery to return items. Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in the same condition you received them. Customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
How do refunds work?
Refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5-10 business days after we receive and inspect the return. Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
What if my item arrives damaged or incorrect?
We're so sorry if that happens! If your item arrives damaged or is significantly different from what we described, we'll make it right with a full refund including shipping. Just contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos, and we'll cover the return shipping costs too. We want you to be happy with your purchase.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept secure credit card and instant EFT payments through Yoco, our trusted payment gateway.
